You are either going to be placing a NAS at every client, or intermixing clients on your own NAS at your office or data center. Synology: You can't setup a scalable backup with this. This is hard to do right (it's cumbersome and labor intensive), you might as well outsource to reduce risk. And if you do set up in house, lots of people do not take security or immutability seriously. No onesie twosie setting up a box at a client site and calling it a day. Veeam: Works fine but you better have the infrastructure to support it. So i'm all in on Dropsuite going forward. HOWEVER, it doesn't have the featureset Dropsuite and Backupify have (like directory browsing). I also have been using Cloudfinder from Axcient and it's a rock solid product. I have Dropsuite and Backupify side by side to compare and Dropsuite has performed just as well with better reporting and responsiveness from the interface AND better billing through Pax8. Dropsuite, as well as everyone else is limited by the API speed of Microsoft.
